A few more things

OK another quick post and this will hopefully tie up some loose ends.

I few days ago, seemingly out of nowhere, I called Clarence Thomas an idiot. There are many reasons to do this but I was specifically talking about this. Thomas is a perfect example of someone who has learned the "Conservative ideology" and then decided to stop thinking. He has a set of beliefs and refuses to let anything, even common sense, stand in his way. Yes, he's an idiot.

Yesterday I mentioned John Edwards so decided to post this picture I took of him 5 years ago at a rally. I originally posted it on the 2nd or 3 blog I did ever. Great picture, creepy guy.

Mark Sanford is a Democrat - at least according to FOX News. Their brain washing techniques are incessant and what they will do to lead their viewers to voting for the Republican party is just shameless. They are a dangerous force for those who value the truth or an educated populous. Two things, they know, which are poison to the Conservative movement.

I went out last Friday night and of course Michael Jackson music was playing everywhere. At work, in the streets and even in the bars and clubs of NYC. My first stop was an Irish bar which usually plays Irish and British music but on this night was featuring MJ music. Next was an old school rock bar I go to. This place has a very predictable play list with rock songs from the 60's, 70's and 80's. But on Friday even the band on the stage, who did not even know any Micheal Jackson songs, stopped to play the unmistakable cords to Billie Jean. The crowd, a mix of young students and grizzled rockers all got into it. Next stop was a touristy bar which had MJ music and videos on. All during the day and evening passing cars had MJ music on, probably because most stations went to all Michael, all the time. By the time I made it to my next destination I was hearing MJ music in my head. I thought it was playing in the place even when it wasn't. It was driving me crazy.

From the beginning I was working hard at avoiding the Michael Jackson memorials on TV and radio. I knew it would be suffocating and I realized I would get enough of it by accident - I didn't need to seek it out. Last night however, a friend sent me this video which I had long forgotten about it. It's really is a great Jackson ROCK song and was one of my favorites when it came out. The video is really awesome too. Here, Michael Jackson rocks out as good as any hair band that ever was. If you're not burned out on the man and the music, watch this video and turn it up. Maybe you will be reminded, as I was when I watched this, that Michael Jackson was indeed a very talented and versatile. This song remains one of his best.
