The Yankees wrapped up a sweep of the Minnesota Twins last night and move on the the next round of playoffs. They have to face the always difficult Anaheim Angels who in recent years have beaten the Yankees pretty regularly. We have a tough fight on out hands but this year's Yankee team seem up to the challenge.
Meanwhile, the 1918 jinx for the Boston Red Sox continues. Without the help of steroids, the Red Sox have not won the division and this year could not manage a single victory in the post season. Their illegitimate championships now stand in glaring contrast to how mediocre they really are when forced to stay within the rules. Interesting also that now that baseball is clean, the Yankees reemerge as the premiere team in Major League baseball. Everything is back to normal in baseball.
