Today is the first day of the rest of your life

Thats an old saying that used to be real popular. Although today is actually the fifth day of the new year, in many ways it feels like the first. It's the first Monday - the first work day of the year. Almost everyone will be back from vacations and the holidays, for those who like to stretch them out, are definitely over.

I have only made a few New Year's resolutions and so far, have managed to keep them. But if you made some and already broke down - no problem - start fresh today! It's a new day. It's a new week. It's a new year. The next twelve months are sure to have it's share of ups and downs, but I hope you join me throughout 2009 as I fight to make it the best year ever. Yes we can. Begin today, because after all, it is the first day of the rest of our lives!
