Video of The Day

Here is a video of highlights from this years Chinese New Year's Parade. I used a program on my computer called Garage Band to mix some music in too. There are two main parts to the video. First, I came across a ceremony to wake the dragon prior to the parade. Only a small crowd could edge their way in to see the dragon show face to face. Then the parade started and I shot some of the better marchers to go by. It was really cool having confetti being blasted on you, constantly and in broad daylight. The dragons in the parade are amazing to see and come out nicely on the film here. It was unseasonably sunny and warm this February day so the setting was perfect for the festivities.
