Church as State

If I had the time, and I hope to soon, I would be following this story even more closely. Right now, Rachel Maddow, who in a few short months has created the best political news show on television, is almost the only one investigating this. In a nutshell, there is a group of Republicans, who have worn their Christianity like a badge of honor all living in the same place. What goes on there? They won't tell. You see they have had their residence zoned as a church and they claim that gives them absolute privacy in everything they say and do.

Turns out this "church" houses a whole group of the GOPers now caught in extra-marital affairs. It also turns out that the house members have covered it up and in some cases even hosted the liaisons! So when these pious Republicans go to Bible Study - it has often mean they were going to bone their mistress. Now they claim that it is all protected from investigation since it took place in a church. Yep, that's what they are saying.

That is an amazing series of events but shockingly only the tip of the iceberg. Look at this video and keep up with the story yourself to see how it develops. It seems that this has been going on for years and rather than a "church", this may actually be a cult of people who believe that God has ordain them and only them to be outside laws and rules of decency and that God wants them and only them to rule the world. No joke. No exaggeration.

This could blow up like nothing else in modern American political history. If a party, if our country has been steered by the members of this secret cult, then democracy as a whole and the USA overall has been screwed more royally than a GOP staffers wife.
