What a game last night. A real Classic. It was a big crowd and at least in my section it was very loud and very liquid. Mets fans don't get a lot of room to breath at The Stadium as drunken Yankee fans quickly shout them down into place. It was a long, loud and drunk game. When A-Rod popped up with two out in the bottom of the ninth, Yankee fans let out a groan. It looked like the battle was lost. The harassed Mets gazed excitedly at the harmless fly ball while I watched the ball with glum resignation. I really thought the beer had caught up with me when I saw the ball bounce out of Castillo's glove. I thought I was hallucinating! Everyone began screaming:
He dropped it!! Run!!! or
Oh No!!! Throw it!! When Teixiera slid across home plate for the winning run the place erupted in Pandemonium that I've never seen. It was an amazing experience. My nephew has his good luck and comeback victory streak alive and Yankee fans once again have a reason to smile. I need a new Yankee jersey and was leaning towards Teixiera. I didn't see him play before he came to the Yankees but watching him this year I've been impressed. He's tough, plays hard, smart and has heart. Just like me. I said to myself before the game that if he had a good game I would see it as a sign to get the jersey. Well, he hit a HR and got the game winning run - a good game indeed. So number 25 it is. I didn't get it last night because it was just too crazy after the game, but will soon. Now I have to decide whether or not to get the name on the jersey or just the number.

The election in Iran looks messy. From what I understand, Ahmadinejad and the state run media claims he was reelected but his opponent and outside observers dispute that. There are also demonstrations and riots protesting the so-called official results.
This graph shows the vote count for the candidates at each of the government official announcements of the results. It's unbelievable that any election results could be so consistent. An exact straight line with no variation in the victory margin? C'mon. This has fraud, poorly disguised, written all over it. This could take some time to sort out.
