Happy Friday

Another week has come to an end. It has been typically busy and exhausting. This week I froze, was snowed upon and got sunburned. Today it will be pouring rain. That's New England weather for you.

I'm still not blogging much due to a lack of time and home computer. Remember though, you can always follow me on Twitter or Facebook. It is a quicker and easier way for me to send out messages with those services on my iPhone. Also "spill" and "chief" I owe you e mail replies. Great to hear from you... Sorry for the delay.

Did I already blog about my new favorite app? It's called "flight control" and it's a blast. Certainly earns my GET IT seal of approval. My high score so far is 45.

The Yankees finally won yesterday. Next Thursday is the home opener. Needless to say I am excited. I heard that President Obama is throwing out the first pitch. Hope that's true.

When I first got to New York I noticed the Starbucks filled with the self employed and Trust Fund poseurs. For a couple years I pretty much avoided the place. Recently however my new job has me next to a couple of them so it has become a more regular place I visit. Things have changed. Now Starbucks seems to be a dumping ground for bums. I know this sounds insensitive but so often there are just so many loud, obnoxious, dirty and lazy people I have ever seen. They hang out at Starbucks all day everyday drinking cheap coffee refills. This warm and cuddly liberal gets very annoyed slaving at my job while watching these slackers waste the days away drinking coffee, smoking cigarettes and having loud idiotic conversations. I'm probably just jealous.

While I'm venting have I mentioned that I hate the paparazzi? Not that they stalk me but they just bug me. People getting rich doing something that should be illegal in my mind. I was reminded of this yesterday when I saw a small group if these scumbags (probably fueled up on Starbucks) running down the street pushing people out of the way. I don't know or care who they were chasing but it irked me. If I were famous I know I would be in constant trouble with these people. If I was walking to the store and someone got right in front of me on the sidewalk blocking my way ..... I would not have the self control necessary to avoid physical confrontation. Everyone should be allowed to have their personal space.

I hope everyone has a Happy Friday.
