I got the app "twitterific" even though I didn't quite understand everything it was supposed to do or why I would need it since I get my tweets by text.
Glad I went for it. Not only does it collect all my incoming messages beautifully - but thankfully it also eliminates the need to have tweets by text. This simple 99 cent app keeps me from testing my phone text limit (2000 a month) and from having the constant annoyance of often mundane messages setting my phone off. I simply turned off my mobile prompt at Twitter.com, re-added people who were overloading my text in-box and get my messages at my leisure.
With twitterific, all my tweets are waiting in line and in order. I get my messages when I want and only when I want. Direct replies, which I never liked to use because of all the extra typing, are now a snap. If someone says something I want to reply to, I can do so with absolute ease. This app is a very pleasent surprise.
