Surprise Opening

I have not missed a Yankee Opening Day since moving to New York. But this year is different. With the new stadium, the (expletive deleted) Yankee organization decided to exclude their loyal fans from automatically getting the ticket, and instead decided they could make more money selling them separately. I gave up hope of getting a ticket after a frustrating, all day effort, on line, a couple weeks ago. However, a friend of mine didn't give up so easy. He stood in line for many hours at Yankee Stadium to try to get some tickets for the big opening. I felt bad for him, knowing that it was a hopeless effort. Oh no it wasn't! Here is my ticket to the first game ever at the New Yankee Stadium.
